Selected central, highly-accessible transit hubs and designed a rail-centric path with 3-night minimum stays in primary locations. Drafted specialized packing lists for multiple climates, pre-mapped station-to-hotel walks, and incorporated structured quiet afternoons that allowed family members to recharge independently.

The Challenge:
Structuring a walking itinerary for a group with varied physical capabilities, balancing the desire for a rustic pilgrimage experience with the reality of fatigue, lodging shortages, and daily luggage transfers.
The Solution:
Divided the traditional daily hiking segments into custom-measured half-stages. Secured ahead-of-time lodging in historical paradors and cozy farmsteads, and coordinated local daily luggage forwarding so the family walked with only light daypacks. Developed pacing guides and detour maps for scenic rest stops.
